Folha de S.Paulo

Founded in 1921, Folha is one of the largest and most influential of the national general interest daily newspapers. Its growth has been based on the four foundations of the Folha Project: pluralism, non-partisanship, critical journalism and independence.
Folha proposes to curate news, offering varied content and exposing its readers to different points of view. The professional journalism practiced focuses on topics of general information and public interest, translated into useful and comprehensive material for the greatest number of people.

The newspaper maintains a line of critical scrutiny of all the powers that be, regardless of their party coloration or social and political base. It defines itself as a liberal, reformist vehicle, open to a plurality of tendencies, always maintaining a firm commitment to the defense of democracy.
