CTXT is a weekly newspaper founded in January 2015 by 14 experienced journalists from major European newspapers such as El País, El Mundo and La Repubblica, who seek to exercise their profession in complete freedom, without being enslaved by political, editorial or business interests.

Our first objective is to provide a political and economic context for the most relevant news, to anticipate the major issues that will mark the news agenda, to energise culture and creation, to promote the debate of ideas, and to tell and analyse the facts with sobriety, honesty, irony (when possible) and a critical sense.
