Boza Sur

A migrant rights organization in Spain.
Boza Sur works to tell the stories of migrants arriving in Europe through Spain, showing their humanity and fighting xenophobia in a socio-political climate of anti-immigrant dehumanization.

Boza is a cry of hope and freedom, expressed by migrants when they reach Europe. It is a cry against silence, one that breaks down walls and borders.

Inspired by this cry, Boza Sur’s mission is to ensure that migrant brothers and sisters are welcomed in a dignified manner. It achieves this by exposing the reality and injustice of Europe’s southern border policies through public action and publications, which aim to place the humanity of the people directly affected by these policies – migrants themselves – at the heart of public and policy debates on migration.
